Goals of the Project
The goal of the website was to create an attractive up-to-date usable website. An interactive calendar and a message board were also two features that ACT wanted to add to the website. ACToday at UT also wanted a completely different looking website than ACToday at BGSU.
This website was a re-design an old website.
Description
An interactive calendar was designed so that ACT could edit the calendar themselves for students to see what events were going on at ACT.
A message board was also designed so that students and faculty at ACT could interact with each other on the website. Unfortunately, after the message board was implemented, spammers attacked the board and left a good amount of inappropriate messages that quickly discouraged ACT. They chose to take the message board down. The problem came about because ACT did not regularly monitor the board.
ACT at UT is actually 1 of 3 sites that I did for ACT. The other 2 sites are ACT at BGSU and ACT Inc.
