Goals of the Project

This was a class assignment. The goal of this project was to create a photographic editorial illustration in tribute of a famous person who we admired and emulated. This could be an athlete, visual artist, or other person from history. The project had to be designed as a poster to be displayed in a museum, school or library. We had to research their life and achievements.

The illustration had to include at least 4 different images from various sources, including: a portrait, a location (building, landscape) and objects which show their achievements. We also had to include text of our choosing. The project had to be a multi-layered montage.

I designed the poster as part of a class project for Digital Imaging and Manipulation in the 2009 fall semester at The University of Findlay.
