Goals of the Project

This was a class assignment. We had to design a poster for The University of Findlay Symposium for Scholarship and Creativity (SSC). The Symposium was an important campus wide event in which students presented academic and artistic endeavors to their peers, faculty and the community.

We were not allowed to use any images/art that we did not create. We had to use all the text provided, however, we could also add additional text if it added to the design and concept of the poster message. In addition, the entire design had to be created using non-digital mediums. Absolutely no computer use was permitted, with the exception of scanning images and adding the SCC logo.

The primary color had to be dark green. As a class we selected 3 posters to submit to the SSC committee.

Description

I designed the poster as part of a class project for Graphic Design in the 2010 spring semester at The University of Findlay.
